Welcome to Argentina! In this program, students will travel to the capital city of Buenos Aires, where they will motor down the Avenue of July 9th to the Cabildo, the city's town hall. Next, it's time to enjoy a submarino -- a glass of hot milk with a melted chocolate bar in it -- before hunting for traditional native jewelry in one of Buenos Aires' many shops. Throughout the program, students will learn a little about the cultural traditions, history, climate and politics of Argentina, in addition to attending a futbol game. GOOOAALL! Students will trek to the Argentinean countryside and watch a polo match before wending their way up one of the many rivers of the El Tigre delta to shop from a floating grocery store. °Buen viaje! Students will learn about the country's history, political system, currency, language, religion and climate, as well as visit a few of the most famous sites and sample delicious foods.They’ll also learn about each country's unique contribution to our global village called Earth. This series is perfect for elementary and middle school students.
