These are excellent DVDs containing two 15-minute segments that follow two different children from morning to bedtime. Narrated in the first person, in a child's voice, the video shows real-life activities, people and places. Geared for elementary and middle school students. The segments show a child of an affluent family and a family from a small village. The programs make no comparisons or judgements, they merely show what life is like in a loving family in Mexico, Costa Rica or Puerto Rico. These excellent programs will allow students to understand then compare and contrast another culture to their own.
