This DVD is packed with 8 different half hour "Rick Steves' Europe" TV shows on Spain.

Here's where it'll take you:

Barcelona and Catalunya: The creative spirit of Spain's Catalunya-the land of Picasso, Gaudi and Dali-is on a roll. We'll dive into the festivity of Barcelona, taste some tapas, and take eye-opening side trips to Figueres, mountaintop Montserrat and seaside Cadaques.

Basque Country: We experience Basque culture at its most vivid. In Spain we tour the ancient Basque captial of Gernika and the dazzling Guggenheim in Bilbao, then cross into Basque France.

Northern Spain and the Camino de Santiago: We follow the trail pilgrims have trod for centuries, from the French Pyrenees to Spain's Santiago de Compostela. Along the way, we stop off in Pamplona to run with the bulls, and dive into the Celtic culture of Galicia.

The Majest of Madrid: We marvel at Madrid with tours of the lavish Royal Palace and masterpiece-packed Prado, then become mesmerized by flamenco dancers, and try munching on pigs' ears. Our finale is a dramatic dose of history at El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen.

Highlights of Castille: Castile sparkles with Roman Segovia, and holy Toledo! We marvel at El Greco and ramble Spain's most awe-inspiring medieval walls. Then we grab a front-row seat to enjoy Europe's most enchanting public square.

Sevilla: Sevilla has soul-and we feel it in its lacy Moorish palace, massive cathedral, lavish royalty tombs, labyrinthe Jewish quarter, and its people-filled streets.

Granada, Cordoba, and Spain's Costa del Sol: In Granada we explore Europe's last and greatest Moorish palace, the Alhambra. Then we taste some smooth Andalucian sherry, admire prancing horses, and soak up the sun on a Costa del Sol beach.

Andalucia, Gibraltar and Tangier: Starting up high, in Spain's whitewashed Andalucian hill towns, we roll down the coast to enjoy windsurfing in Tarifa. Then we catch a bit of Britian on the Rock of Gibraltar, and sail to Africa for a Moroccan finale in Tangier.
