Learning the subjunctive can sometimes be overwhelming for students! This presentation uses the acronym WEIRDO (Wishes, Emotions, Impresonal expressions, Requests, Doubt and denail, Ojalá) to explain when to use the subjunctive.
The characters of "Mr. Factual" (Indicative) and "Mr. Dreamer" (Subjunctive) are also used to help students grasp the concept of the indicative vs. the subjunctive.
The included powerpoint presentation contains 43 slides of information.
The book includes: how to form the present subjunctive - including irreculars and vers with spelling changes, and when to use the subjunctive - explanations and examples of instances where the subjunctive is used, and various translation, question/answer, and fill in the blank activities to get students to use the subjunctive.
